If I were to install firewalls on each virtual machine, this would probably bottleneck the network connectivity I have between the host OS and guest OSes. Each virtual machine has its own connection to a virtual network. It's generally accepted that the most significant risks are external/public facing or are facilitated by entirely different components such as the USB controller, and firewalls can be seen as a nuisance to some. Windows Defender when updating its build changes the installation path, so the firewall rule will need to be modified. Id like to know if anyone has this combo and any issues or settings I should consider No problem. In fact, don't necessarily use this as an example but many home networks go without firewalls on local workstations, with the exception of perhaps one in the form of home router/modem combination. I am considering adding Comodos firewall to my Windows Defender antivirus. I don't think you should exclude your other options. Comodo Firewall does not in itself include an antivirus component, but its File Rating component checks files against Comodos cloud database when you access them. Choose the best choice you can, meaning the one which offers the best comprehensive protection against network-based attacks, on a per-network basis. The same thing happens, I deselect install of antivirus/dragon browser and it installs anyway And Comodo firewall only doesn't offer AV to install, it offers to install only comodo dragon web browser and internet security essential. To be clear, you should not use more than one firewall per computer. We have checked and found that the Comodo firewall version only installs firewall not Av.
